牛奶果每次採收的量非常少，量產真的稀少，果肉跟黃金果肉一樣切開會滲出白色乳汁，牛奶果肉切開呈一半乳白一半紫透明，吃起來口感滑嫩清甜皮薄肉多，富含花青素抗氧化、還有豐富的蛋白質、及鐵，果肉軟嫩好入口相當適合大人小孩食用，冷藏後風味更佳
保存：常溫保存3-5天，冷藏可以保存7-10天左右
